+Star Wars+
If I had to pick, I'd say Lord of the Rings and Star Wars are two of my favorite "alternate universes". So I guess it's practical that I make costumes for both, right? Some are completed costumes, some are work-in-progress. Go Lucas, go Lucas, go!

TR-5123
Rose Guard
Emperor's Royal Guard- I think I've always secretly wanted to be one of these guys. (Well, it's not really a secret anymore.) It's like my Boba Fett obsession, they're so mysterious (but no, I don't want to BE Boba Fett, sorry I worded that funny). Seriously though... Even though there's no evidence that any of them are female... does that mean that none of them could possibly be female?

With this costume I am officially a member of the 501st Legion. I have multiple versions, as well as pics, info, and links, that can all be found at

Swar Wars "Dawn"- Although I did not finish my planned dress in time for the "Dawn-Look-Alike" contest at Dragoncon'04, I still wanted to atleast participate and attend. I ended up last min entering as a Star Wars themed Dawn. Insipired by Mara Jade's resemblence to the red headded goddess, I had a great experience and loved every second of it, even though I wasn't really doing it to compete.

Details: The belt and sabre hilt here borrowed from Lighthammer, the corset was my first self-made corset from about 2 years ago, and everything else was stuff I just found lying around. Just added the tears and bam! I was Star Wars Dawn.

Twi'lek- Another quick and easy costume. Comfortable dress that I wore for an entire day, and a lekku headdress made out of pantyhose. I need to remake the lekku though because it was kinda extra large and abnormal for a twi'lek's head. The other person in the pic is my friend and fellow 501st member DarthAngi.

Twi'lek v2- For celebration 3 I remade the lekku headdress to a much better proportion and shape, added some decorations and horns, and had some fun. Pictured with Summer from the SO and a fanboy.

Fireside Corset Gown- My favorite "Attack of the Clones" Padme outfit, it's so different from just about anything else she's worn. And the scene she wears it in... tempting Anakin, but telling him NO, silly girl.

Details: It's not completely accurate, but it's much easier to move and dance :) in then the original design. I originally made the corset (my first one) back in 2002, but never really had a costume use for it untill this costume, where I altered it and finally added boning to the seams. The skirt is an altered "streach" material with crinolin and underskirt added to keep it's shape. The collar is hand beaded with some of my collection of hematite beads. I hope to get alot of wear outta this costume.

Clone Wars Microseries, Ep1 Amidala Gown- The moment I watched episode one's premire, and this dress, I knew I had to make it. It's like making any of my anime based costumes: a set design, yet room to work on the details. Plus, it has pearls. I LOVE working with pearl strands.

Details: Finished just in time for Celebration 3, although there are still some things I'd like to work on it. I didn't have the correct colors from the series, and limited funds so I couldn't afford getting new material, so I used a little ingenuity to work it out. With scraps and fabric I had from past costumes and extras, I constructed the gown then added my own design of pink machine embroidered stitching on the hand quilted patches. I also wanted to do some beading, but ran out of time. I also didn't finish the headdress, but I'll get to that. Picture is after about 6 hours of wearing the costume and having been rained on, and on the way to getting it off. Also pictured with TC-Sweetpea :)

Imperial Officer- A double costume, this will also be my "Capt. Franky Cook" from "Sky Captain". I'll ofcource be making the black version of the uniform, and I think I'll only be a Lieutenant in rank.

Clone Wars Microseries, Ep21 Amidala Gown- Second season of the clone wars, the excitement got the better of me and the next day I began working on the costume. It'll be finished within the week.

Sabe Ep1 Attack Gown- I can't help it, I'm a Sabe fan... more specifically a Sabe/Obi-wan fan. I wish it were true, I can dream of their forbidden love atleast. Ahem, anyway... Going to make this costume, one of Kiera Knightly's first roles! And it's the only dress I feel comfortable enough to wear from ep1.

Charal of Ewoks: Battle for Endor- In celebration of the original Ewok movies being released on DVD, I've decided to finally make my all time favorite Star Wars villain. She's bad, she's magic, and she's sooo much fun! And now that I'll have the DVD, she's crystal clear and full of detail :)

Return of the Jedi Leia Dress- I've never been sure what to call this dress. Endor dress, Ewok dress, Looking Foxy dress. *shrug* All I know is I've always wanted it and it's a fairly easy dress to make.
Dolls- For Celebration3, a fellow costumer has offered to host a custom doll costume expo/competition, and asked for participants. I quickly chimed in, and as of January will be entering atleast 7 dolls (three sets of two and one special individual doll). More details to come later.
There are probably lots more, but I think that's enough for one costumer... don't you?
